This public consultation website shows the plans for a proposed development of 117 homes on Land East of Albion Road and North of Copper Lane, Marden. The plans are being prepared by B.Yond ahead of the submission of a reserved matters planning application.

The purpose of the website is to provide local residents with information on the proposals, to answer common questions and to provide feedback on the plans.     

The proposed development site is allocated in the Adopted Maidstone Borough Local Plan, 2024, under policy reference LPRSA295 for residential development for circa 113 homes.

Outline Planning permission for the development was granted at Appeal in December 2024 (LPA Ref. 23/504068/OUT and PINS Ref. APP/U2235/W/24/3346817). This approved application established the principle of development for up to 117 homes on the site and the approved access into it.    

This reserved matters application is therefore seeking permission for the details of the scale, layout, appearance and landscaping across the site.
